In front of you there is a beautiful cloister garden created in the style of this type of space from past eras. Taking into account the time when the monastery was founded, two styles of garden art were combined. The formal – geometric part – includes a rosarium and a herbarium, and the naturalistic part is a hay meadow with an exposed solitaire in the form of a pedunculate oak. Both parts are connected by a path – a gravel alley, leading from the entrance to the garden towards the observation tower, diverging at the place of the rosarium. One route runs along the slope offering a view of the Osława River valley, the other leads through the rosarium to the observation tower. Large-flowered and climbing roses were planted in the cloister garden. Old varieties of apple trees and herbs in the herbarium emphasize the original character of this place, as do ornamental plants popular in ancient Poland.
