The Nowy Zagórz railway station, in front of which you are currently standing, dates back to 1884 and was built in a typical Galician style. The original station building was two-story, with small single-story wings and a long roof on the side of the tracks. It had a high gable roof. Unfortunately, it was destroyed during World War I. In the 1920s it was reconstructed, but in a much-altered form. A second floor was addend. The architecture of the facade was embellished to make it look more like a palace, making the building an architectural landmark of Zagórz.
