You are already standing in the former monastery square, in front of you there are the ruins of the former Discalced Carmelites’ church. However, before you go towards it, look to the right. The building you see is the modern Foresterium Cultural Centre, located in the former foresterium – a place where guests who once came to the monks were received. The facility was opened in November 2021 and since then it has been attracting plenty of visitors who can go on a journey through the Carmelite world in the virtual reality room, watch an educational film, see exhibits related to the Bar Confederation, look into the monk's cell, and admire ‘moving paintings’. The Cultural Centre also has a conference room, exhibition space, a café and a restaurant. Meetings, an exhibition of paintings and other cultural events are organized here. So come inside!
